Who viewed my profile

Someone viewing your profile may be interested but unsure about making the first move. The visitors page puts that chance in front of you.

What it is

The Profile visitors page shows who viewed your profile, most recent first, with the numbers for today, this week, 30 days and in total. Someone who views many times counts once. If you like someone, open their profile from there and send interest.

Not everyone wants their viewing known, especially among people they know, so Settings has "Browse privately". With it on, your name, photo and details don't appear on the lists of profiles you view; you are only counted. They see a line such as "1 member viewed privately in the last 30 days".

The rule works both ways. With private browsing on, you see only the numbers for your own visitors, not their names, so nobody can stay hidden while watching others. Turning it off doesn't reveal earlier private visits unless you view that profile again.

Visitor numbers also hint at how well your profile is working. If they are low, complete your profile, add a clear photo, verify it and look again. The dashboard shows this week's visitors and whether that is up or down on last week, and the weekly email includes the number too.

Who it's for

  • People who want to know who is interested
  • Members happy to make the first move
  • People who want to look at profiles quietly
  • Anyone curious how far their profile reaches

How it works

  1. Create a free profile

After approval, others can view it.

  2. Open Profile visitors

See the list and numbers from the menu.

  3. Send interest if you like someone

Open their profile from the list.

  4. Browse privately if you prefer

Turn it on in the Privacy part of Settings.

Why it's safe

People you blocked and profiles that are now hidden don't appear. A visitor's photo follows their own photo setting. Visitors who aren't logged in aren't on this list.

The record of profile views is explained plainly in our privacy policy. Don't assume a view means interest; approach people politely, on the site.
