1.What information we collect
2.How we use information
- Showing your profile and finding suitable profiles for you
- Verifying identity and documents
- Handling interests, messages and notifications
- Keeping track of points, referrals and boosts
- Detecting fraud, multiple accounts and misuse — including automatic checks for spam or suspicious links in support tickets and submitted writing; these only flag items for the team to review, and no action is taken automatically
- Improving the service and meeting legal obligations
3.What other members can see
4.Birth registration and verification data
Verification documents are encrypted and stored separately, and only authorised verification staff can see them. Every viewing is recorded in an audit log. Where needed, the number may be checked against the government's online server.
5.Message screening
Your messages are private. However, to prevent fraud, automatic systems may detect financial details or risky language. If there is a report or an automatic flag, the safety team sees only the relevant part.
6.Sharing information
To run the service, we give the minimum necessary information to trusted service providers (such as SMS, email, payment gateways, cloud servers and, if you agree, Google Analytics for website analytics) — they are bound by contract to protect your privacy. Information may be given to the authorities under a legal order or if someone's safety is at risk.
7.How long information is kept
- Active account information: for as long as the account is open
- After a deletion request: permanently deleted after 30 days
- Donation transaction records: for the period required by law
- Records of rule-breaking and fraud: for a limited period, to prevent repeat misuse
8.Your rights
- See your information and ask for a copy
- Correct inaccurate information
- Control who sees your photos and contact details
- Hide, pause or permanently delete your profile
- Turn off marketing emails and notifications
9.Information security
We protect information with encryption (HTTPS), encrypted passwords, role-based access and audit logs. No system is 100% secure; if a data breach happens, we will promptly inform the members affected.
10.Cookies
We use cookies to keep you logged in, for security and to improve the service. Details are in the cookie policy.

You will be told in advance of important changes. Privacy questions or requests: hello@shadimaker.com or the contact page.
