A marriage profile with your photos private
Many families, especially a bride's family, hesitate to put photos online. That is natural, so on ShadiMaker you decide who sees what.
What it is
There are three choices for your photos: everyone, logged-in members only, or only people whose interest you accepted. Even with "everyone", visitors who aren't logged in see only a blurred photo. Our team checks every photo before it is published.
There are four choices for your phone and email: as soon as an interest is accepted, after your approval, verified members only after your approval, or nobody. "After my approval" is the starting setting. The guardian's number is stored encrypted. Your village and house address are shown only after an interest is accepted, and you decide whether to show your income.
You can hide your profile for a while; it leaves search, but your conversations continue. With "Browse privately" on, your name doesn't appear on the visitor lists of profiles you view. If someone bothers you, block them; reports and blocks are completely private.
Who it's for
- Families who don't want a daughter's photo in public
- People who only share a number for serious proposals
- Members who don't want acquaintances to find out
- Anyone who wants to look at profiles quietly
How it works
Create a profile
The settings are in the Photos and Privacy parts of Edit profile.
Choose who sees your photos
The strictest setting is accepted interests only.
Choose your contact setting
With approval on, nobody sees your number unless you allow it.
Change it any time
A new setting works straight away.
Why it's safe
Profile pages are closed to search engines and AI crawlers. We don't sell your personal information, and your name, number, email, biodata or messages are never given to advertisers. Phone numbers and links are blocked in messages, so nobody can press you for a number.
Still, take care with what you write or give to anyone; we can't stop someone taking a screenshot. Publishing someone else's details that way is against our terms.
