1.Suggestions for you
The “Suggestions for you” page has three tabs:
- Today's suggestions: the profiles that fit you best, each with the reasons why
- New members: good fits among people who joined in the last two weeks
- Nearby: good fits in your division or district
People whose interest you declined or who declined yours, and anyone you blocked or reported, don't appear here again.
2.How matching works
- Both sides' preferences: your preferences against their details, and theirs against yours — age, height, area, education, occupation, marital status, religious practice
- Your activity: the kinds of profiles you view, shortlist or send interest to
- Your words: how well your “hopes and dreams” and “what I expect from a partner” fit theirs
- Verified and complete profiles get a small lift
The list is refreshed every day. The clearer your partner preferences, the better your suggestions.
3.Profile visitors
The “Profile visitors” page shows who viewed your profile — today, this week, in 30 days and the total views. If you like someone, you can send interest from there. People you blocked or whose profiles are now hidden don't appear.
4.Notifications
New interests, accepted interests, messages, contact requests, profile approval, verification and points news appear on the “Notifications” page; the menu shows the unread count. The “Interests & contact”, “Verification & account” and “Points & boost” tabs show each kind separately. Notifications can't be switched off, but emails can.
5.Emails
Turn any of these off at any time in Settings → Email notifications, or with the “turn off this kind of email” link at the bottom of the email. Essential emails such as password, verification, new-device login and profile approval can't be turned off.
