Share marriage proposals with your family
A marriage decision is never one person's alone. But sharing a password with parents isn't right, and sending each profile separately is a chore. The family link solves that.
What it is
One click on the Family link tab of Edit profile creates a private link. Copy it or send it by WhatsApp to your parents, siblings or guardian. They don't open an account or need a password.
The link has four lists: people both sides have agreed with, interests received and not yet answered, interests you sent, and your shortlist. Each profile shows the display name, age, height, education, occupation and district.
Your family can only look. They can't send or accept interests, write messages or change anything, so the decisions and the account stay with you. You can see how many times the link was opened and when. A new link stops the old one working, and you can close it with one click.
It differs from a share link. A share link shows your own profile to someone else, such as a matchmaker or relative. The family link works the other way: it shows your family the proposals you received and sent. So you don't have to tell them each time; a new interest or shortlisted profile simply appears on the link. They can open a profile, read it and then talk it over with you.
Who it's for
- Members who want their family involved in every proposal
- Parents who don't want an account
- Members abroad with family at home
- Guardians who want something simple on a phone
How it works
Open the Family link tab
It's on the Edit profile page.
Create the link
It takes one click.
Send it to your family
Copy it or use WhatsApp.
Talk it over together
They look; you decide together.
Why it's safe
Your messages never appear on the link, and neither do other members' photos or contact details. Other members show only the general information anyone can see without logging in. Hidden, suspended and blocked profiles drop out by themselves, and declined interests aren't shown.
The link isn't on search engines. Anyone holding it can see it, so give it only to family, and replace it if it goes astray.
General question
Does my family need an account?
No. They just open the link.
Can they read my messages?
No, messages are never shown.
Can they accept an interest for me?
No. The link is view only.
Can I close the link?
Yes, close it or replace it at any time.
Are other members' profiles on the link?
Only their general information, the same as anyone can see without logging in. No photos or contact details.
