Filters for finding a bride or groom

Search for yourself instead of relying on a matchmaker. Choose the filters your family cares about and see only the profiles that are useful to you.

What it is

The search page lets you narrow the list your own way: bride or groom, age, marital status, division and district, religion, height, complexion, fiqh, economic status, education and occupation. You can also choose who runs the profile, the member or a guardian.

Many families start from the home district rather than where someone lives now, so district pages also show people from that district who live elsewhere. If your family is from Satkhira and a groom from there lives in Dhaka, he still comes up in your search.

You can sort by newest members, and "Verified only" shows only profiles with a checked identity. Profiles marked "Boosted" at the top have used points to move up for a while, so judge for yourself whether they suit you.

For better results, don't start with every filter. Begin with age and area, look at the results, then add education, occupation or religious practice one at a time. Too many filters can hide good profiles. If few come up, try a neighbouring district or the whole division, because new members join regularly.

Who it's for

  • Families who want a match within their own district or upazila
  • People looking for a particular education or occupation
  • Divorced or widowed members looking for a second marriage
  • Guardians who want to see guardian-managed profiles

How it works

  1. Open the search page

You can see the list without logging in, but photos are blurred or off.

  2. Start with few filters

Begin with age and area, then add more.

  3. Read the full profile

Shortlist the ones you like and talk with your family.

  4. Send interest

If they agree, you can talk on the site.

Why it's safe

Search shows approved profiles only. Hidden, suspended or blocked profiles don't appear. Visitors who aren't logged in never see a real photo, and phone numbers are never in a list.

Your own profile is protected the same way. You decide who sees your photos, and you can hide your profile. Profile pages are not indexed by search engines.

General question

Do I need an account to search?

Not to see the list. To see photos, send interest or shortlist, create a free profile.

Can I search by upazila?

Yes. Upazilas with profiles have their own page.

Can I search by home district?

Yes. District pages list people from that district where there are any.

Why do I get no results?

Too many filters can do that. Remove a few or search the whole division.

What does "Boosted" mean?

The member used points to move up for 24 hours. It isn't a sign of quality or verification.
